Privacy Policy
Nevernevermore helps you turn a goal into daily missions and turn proof of your progress into illustrated cards. To do that we keep some information about you. This page says what we keep, why, who helps us run the app, and how to have it deleted.
1.What we collect
- Your email address, when you save your progress or buy a pass, so you can sign in on any device.
- What you write in the app: your goals, objectives, milestones, missions, reviews and reflections.
- Proof you add: photos, screenshots and written reflections, and the card illustrations made from them.
- Purchase records: which plan or Ink you bought and when. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical information: device and browser type, pages visited, and approximate location from your IP address.
- While you sign up and choose a pass, we may record how you move through those screens (taps and scrolling) to improve them. Anything you type is hidden in these recordings, and nothing inside the app after that is recorded.
2.How we use it
- To run the app: write your path and daily missions, illustrate your cards, and keep your progress in sync across devices.
- To send the emails you need, such as sign-in codes and receipts.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To understand which ads bring people to Nevernevermore and to show our ads to people likely to find it useful.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse and fix problems.
We do not sell your goals, your proofs or your cards to anyone.
3.Services that help us run Nevernevermore
We work with trusted service providers who handle information only as needed to do their part, under agreements that limit how they can use it:
- Hosting, database and sign-in: running the app and storing your account, progress and card images.
- AI processing: writing your path and missions from the goal and details you give us, and illustrating the proof you choose to turn into a card. Our AI providers process this only to return results to us, not to train their models.
- Payments and subscriptions: if you pay on the web, Stripe processes your payment; if you pay in the iOS app, Apple does. Either way, they receive your payment details directly and we never see or store your card number.
- Email: sending sign-in codes, receipts and product emails.
- Analytics: understanding how the app is used and fixing problems.
- Advertising and creator partners: measuring which ads and creator videos bring people to Nevernevermore, as described in the next section.
4.Advertising and your choices
Our advertising partners, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), receive information about visits and purchases, such as cookie identifiers and a scrambled version of your email. They may use it to show you Nevernevermore ads and to measure how they perform. Under some US state laws this counts as sharing personal information for cross-context advertising. You can opt out at any time by emailing hello@nevernevermore.com, by adjusting your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, or by using your browser's privacy controls to block third-party tracking.
5.How long we keep it
We keep your account and progress while you use Nevernevermore. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your saved progress, proofs and card images within 30 days. We keep purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require.
6.Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@nevernevermore.com from the address on your account. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honour those requests too.
7.Children
Nevernevermore is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Purchases require you to be 18 or to have a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
8.Security
Your saved progress is private to your account, and card images are stored in a private bucket only you can read. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit who can reach it.
9.Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email.
